What do you think Japanese companies and/or government needs to do to help women in Japan?
Japanese companies and the government should create a better working environment for women who quit their jobs for family reasons but want to come back to the workplace later on!. Highly educated women with excellent capability are not fully utilised in Japan. It’s a waste!
What advice do you have for the next generation of women in Japan?
Sachiko's advice for the next generation: Don't give up on what you really want to do. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Working mothers need support from the people around them. It’d be more productive if you think about how you can do it rather than spending time making excuses.
