Today we celebrate Japanese community nurses - and share a story about a wonderful community nurse working in the mountains of Nara. 80% of Japanese say they hope to be nursed by carers at home rather than going to a facility.
It is expected that by 2025, Japan will need as many as 150,000 community nurses. Nakaue-san, we support and celebrate you and your colleagues.
