Emily Downey is an Australian who has been living in Japan for almost 20 years, working in sports marketing and global partnerships. She is a mother to three kids in three different schools- makes for a hectic but amazing Tokyo life.
What advice do you have for the next generation of women in Japan?
In business and in life- relationships are everything. I am surrounded by powerful Japanese women at all levels and everyday. We’ve got this- carry on as you are and keep bringing the fire. I am in awe.

ビジネスと人生は、人と人との結び付きが全て。私は毎日、あらゆる役職の方々や強い影響力がある日本人女性に囲まれて仕事をしています。彼女達から見えるのは、自分らしさを維持し、情熱を取り入れ続けること。彼女達には、畏敬の念を抱いています。
