What do you think Japanese companies and/or government needs to do to help women in Japan?
When my children were small, I couldn't return to work due to length of commute and work hours. Companies could be more open to ideas like flextime and remote workers. This would make it easier for women to return to the workforce.
What advice do you have for the next generation of women in Japan?
The future is wide open to those who can think creatively and can make use of their life experiences. I love my flexible business and the lifestyle I have created around it. I have done the most significant things since I turned 40 and have done all of it with two kids.
