Today we celebrate Keiko Hamada. Keiko joined Asahi Shimbun in 1989 after graduating from Sophia University. She worked in the editorial department of the weekly magazine called AERA for 17 years from 1999. Keiko was the first woman chief editor, appointed in 2014.
Keiko left Asahi Shimbun to take up the role of chief editor at Mediagene Inc. Keiko is a regular on Japanese TV providing commentary on a range of issues. She is mother of one.

本日は浜田敬子を紹介させていただきます。上智大学を卒業後、1989年に朝日新聞社に入社。1999年からニュース週刊誌AERA編集部に所属。2014年に女性で初めてAERA 編集長に就任し、2016年3月まで務めました。
2017年3月に朝日新聞社を退社。現在は株式会社メディアジーンにてアメリカ発のオンライン経済メディア、BI Japan 統括編集長に就任しました。 テレビ朝日の「羽鳥慎一モーニングショー」の水曜コメンテーターも務めており、1児の母でもあります。
