Today we celebrate entrepreneur and UN worker Reina Otsuka. Reina suffered from asthma as a child and this piqued her interest in environmental issues. She went to Hitotsubashi University and did an exchange with UC Berkeley. She spent 3 years at Recruit before setting up Ecotwaza.
Reina received the US Ambassador’s Entrepreneur Award in 2010 and is a member of Global Shapers. In 2017, she completed her Masters at Harvard. She is responsible for biodiversity-related programs at the Rwanda Office of UNDP Environment Specialist and is a mother of two.
本日は起業家、国際公務員の大塚玲奈さんを紹介します。幼少期をアメリカで過ごし、ぜんそくを患い、環境問題に興味を持つ。一橋大学法学部に進学。在学中にカリフォルニア大学バークレー校UC Berkeleyに交換留学をした。株式会社リクルートに入社後、2006年エコトワザを設立。
日本のエコ技や商品を海外とつなげる様々な事業を展開。2010年にアメリカ大使起業家賞受賞し、世界経済フォーラム WEF Global Shapers に選出。2017年ハーバード大学大学院修了後、国連開発計画環境専門官としてルワンダ事務所で生物多様性関連のプログラムを担当。2児の母。
