What do you think Japanese companies and/or government needs to do to help women in Japan?
The government is trying to solve the childcare shortage issue but at the moment things are out of kilter. Demand is not matching supply. Greater engagement with/consideration for grassroots organisations engaged in this field will create solutions.
What advice do you have for the next generation of women in Japan?
More and more, fathers are becoming involved in parenting. My concern is that men are becoming ‘feminised’. The role of both men & women is important. I’m not talking about gender discrimination but I want each of us to be conscious about gender rules
